Summer by AR and HS
Sun shining, engulfing me in warmth
The gentle summer breeze feels cool on my face
Blowing my hair all over the place
Tying my hair back, I take in the sweet summer day
Laying in the grass, begging summer to stay
Although I know it will pass, I have to hope anyway
Recalling memories from summer
The good ones, the bad ones, the normal everyday ones
Days at the pool, dripping ice cream cones
Feels like it's all I’ve ever known
And now summer is over and fall reappears
And unlike summer, nobody cheers

Dolphins Spotted on Land! by H.S.
A family in Port Stephens, Australia spotted dolphins resting on land, with lush green verdure sprouting out of its nare (blowhole)!
Scientist Claudia Cloeman states that she has never seen anything like it before! In an interview with Claudia she states that “this challenges everything we thought we once knew about aquatic animals, especially cetaceans.” She claims that she had been researching this topic for a while, and this only confirms her theory more.
Scientists are currently performing tests to confirm this theory. They believe that dolphins might not actually need their nares to take in oxygen but actually take in oxygen through their rostrum. Interestingly enough scientists believe that the dolphins brains have just the right nutrients to help a plant grow.
The specific substance pentadecanoic acid in their brains that supports cellular health and contributes to aging in a healthy manner. This substance also happens to have the right nutrients to help a plant grow.
Who knew that dolphins were actually land mammals that could grow plants out of their blowhole!?

A Flag Came Back by H.S.
“Just married” read the shattered windshield.
The smallest coffins are the heaviest.
“It’s our fiftieth, table for one.”
“I jumped. Then changed my mind.”
“Ever seen chalk outlines that small?”
